Integrated Payment Services Ltd

Integrated Payments Service Limited (IPSL) formation can be traced back to 2012. Established by the Kenya Bankers Association (KBA) under the National Payment System (NPS) Act, IPSL was formed to address the challenge of integrating retail payments in the country.

CIS Kenya

CIS Kenya is an industry association of lenders, credit reference bureaus, regulators and other interested parties; that fosters the effective development and implementation of a credit reporting mechanism within Kenya; as well as promote cross-border information sharing.

Kenya Private Sector Alliance

Kenya Private Sector Alliance (KEPSA) is the national apex body of the private sector in Kenya. KEPSA’s membership comprises Business Membership Organizations (BMOs) and corporate organizations.

Federation of Kenya Employers

The Federation of Kenya Employers (FKE) is Kenya’s leading employers’ organization in advocacy, industrial relations, employment laws and related value-add services through management, consultancy and training. FKE has been representing employers’ interest both locally and internationally since 1959.

Kenya School of Monetary Studies

Kenya School of Monetary Studies (KSMS) was established on April 15, 1997 to provide capacity building programmes for the financial sector in Kenya and the region. KSMS is registered as a corporate body limited by guarantee under the Companies Act, Chapter 486 of the Laws of Kenya with Central Bank of Kenya as its principal shareholder (99%) and Treasury as the minority shareholder (1%). The School is also registered as a business under the Business Names Act, Chapter 489 as well as with Ministry of Education as a tertiary education institution offering Diploma and Certificate courses.

Higher Education Loans Board

The history of the Higher Education Loans Board dates back to 1952 when the then colonial government awarded loans under the then Higher Education Loans Fund [HELF] to Kenyans pursuing university education in universities outside East Africa notably Britain, the USA, the former USSR, India and South Africa. The Higher Education Loans Board was later established by an Act of Parliament in 1995. Since the HELB works to provide affordable loans, bursaries and scholarships to Kenyans pursuing higher education in Kenya and the East African Community countries.

Auctioneers Licensing Board

The Auctioneers Licensing Board regulates the business of Auctioneering. The Board awards auctioneering licenses pursuant to the provisions of the Auctioneers Act No. 5 of the 1996 Laws of Kenya.

Kenya Credit and Debit Association

Kenya Credit and Debit Association (KCDA) is the umbrella body which brings together organizations that deal with Credit and Debit Cards. Organizations which are eligible to join KCDCA are banks and other institutions issuing paying cards such as credit, debit and pre-paid card products. KCDCA’s mission is to “harmonize the card industry by striving to provide a conducive environment resulting in the realization of the stakeholder objectives.”
